Cute little roadside cafe themed with 1950s road movies Americana. We chanced by this cafe in early May and enjoyed coffees and a restroom break. Just saw they were temporarily closed, maybe for the season, hopefully not forever because it is worth the stop! They had lots of yummy pastries and pies too. There’s seating inside and two covered picnic ramadas. And there’s a really fun-looking playground! Loads of free parking in the gravel lot.

Stumbled across this cafe on a recent visit to Oban and what a little gem. Staff so friendly and welcoming. Can't really comment on the food as we only had cups of tea as we were saving ourselves for a meal later, but the menu looked very appealing and the cakes which were on display looked delicious. I would definitely go back to try the food if I was in the area. Great views too!

Racer cafe is exactly what it says on the tin... Decor 50s style pink diner seating. Roomy enough forthose of us with mobility issues to move around without any restrictions. The restrooms are roomy, and very clean. The welcome is friendly, and you feel like you've walked into a friend's place . The food , well I have to say I did only have a latte and a raspberry scone BUT if that's what you fancy trust me, you will not be disappointed. I was transported back to when my Nana made her scones and I helped taste to make sure they were right. The raspberry conserve was delicious. The latte was just the right amount, nothing wasted. Finally, little Bramble is the sweetest wee dog you'll meet on these travels. Definitely a place to visit again, with the most beautiful views and a lovely wee play area for the kiddos when it's a bit warmer . 10/10 for these amazing ladies.

Stopped off here whilst in the area travelling towards Oban. The service was quick and the food was fantastic, the best breakfast we’ve had, so much so that I didn’t take a photo before eating it! Even managed to get the attention of the resident dog who is also really friendly. Definitely stop and enjoy the food if you’re passing
